I looked on the internet for the science module boundaries for AQA science in unit 1A Biology Chemistry and Physics and according to that I have all A* but I'm not sure if I've got the right grade boundaries and my school aren't sure of the boundaries.

  1. In unit 1a and 1b:

    45/50 = A*

    40-45/50 = A

    35-40/50 = B

    30-35/50 = C

    So wen 1a and 1b get put together you need 90/100 for an A*

    If u got all A*s u should have got above 45 in each exam!

    I assume ur doing seperate science by ur grades:

    To get an A*  as ur final grade in each science you need:

    360/400

    This is split into:

    1a & 1b = 90/100 = A*

    2 = 90/100 = A*

    3 = 90/100 = A*

    ISA = 90/100 (about 32-33/36) = A*

    The hardest quarter to achieve an A* in is the ISA, becoz u can only afford to drop a few marks as opposed to 10 marks, because the mark out of 36 gets multiplyed by about 2.7 to get a mark out of 100.

    Good luck, and well sone for getting all A*s!!!
