  1. my memory.

  2. It is said (legend or truth ???) that the treasure of the Inca king Atahualpa, was by far the largest in the new world. He paid ramson on his life, the amount of gold that could fill a room. If he could pay that for his freedom, and although he was killed by the conquistadors, can you imagine the treasures (El Dorado ???) that his closest general Ruminahui hid somewhere in the Andes mountains ????

Nobody to this date, has ever found traces of El Dorado. Could it be that it's still out there ???

  3. The loss of the Library of Alexandria was one of the most egregious events in human history.  I believe, however, like the Dead Sea Scrolls, much of the content was removed and hidden before the building was burned.  Some day, we just might find it.

  4. Atlantis, Noah's ark, the giant ruins on Antarctica when the ice melts, stuff on Mars, the other side of the moon...

  5. I still think there is a lot more in Egypt to be discovered like in the Valley of Queens.  There's also underwater archaeology to think about as well.  Area's of land that we once inhabited by people that are now covered up by the ocean.

  6. An actual UFO

  7. I believe there are large discoveries waiting the the rain forest of the world...these are places where pyramids disappear do to foliage build up, turning into nothing more than a hill to the naked eye...the sea is also a great place to uncover the past...as well as under our very own cities where we have built on some of the great cities of the past

  8. There are still many things waiting to be uncovered. Many of them are items from the Bible, which may or may not exist like the Ark of the Covenant. Numerous places claim that they hold the Ark, but they never reveal it to the public under the pretense of "protecting" it. Anything can be a great archaelogical discovery as long as it helps people today understand more of the people of the past.

  9. If we knew, there would be a lot less need for archaeology -

While most people focus on the "fantastic" find, it is often the small, unexpected finds that contribute the most to our true understanding of the past.

  10. Where is all the gold that disappeared from the world trade centers when they fell, less than 10% was recovered? Where are all the truck loads of U.S. dollars that were found in Iraq?
