  1. Star Clusters. Google M13 pictures and you see why they are called clusters.


  2. constellation, yes you can differentiate the different constellations that we have. you can also differentiate stars base on their location I guess

  3. Groupings of stars are called constellations,asterisms (big dipper, little dipper, pleides), globular clusters,star clusters.

  4. Not sure exactly what you mean by "grouping", there are several ways to group or classify stars. Stars can be grouped visually into constellations, grouped by temperature, mass, the galaxy they are in, age, luminosity, etc. Probably already thought to look but

  6. "Grouping" is a pretty broad term.  

    You can group stars together by their similarity even if there is no physical relationship between them, like compiling a list of massive stars in our galaxy.

    You can group stars together by their apparent proximity to each other in the sky, like constellations or asterisms.

    You can group them by their physical proximity to each other, such as open or globular clusters.
