What are the hardest vehicle colors to see at sunrise/set and during adverse weather?

I started pulling out from a parking stall in misty /rainy weather at sunset and didn't see a car coming down the parking lot lane because of the color of the car and she didn't have her lights on. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Motorcycles are very hard to see in that kind of weather.

Oh heck yes!  I think anyone who drives has had that!  I think gray, silver, light green, light dusty blue are the worst!  They blend into too many things!  

People don't realize how much safer they would be if they kept their headlights on!
