    There are lots alleged.

    Vinegar is just acetic acid, which is a mild acid.  There are no proven health benefits from drinking acetic acid.  the hydrochloric acid in your stomach is much stronger (lower pH, than acetic acid)

    It tends to be promoted by Naturopaths, and especially those influenced by the German naturopathic school.

    Personally, i put about 2 tablespoons full into a mug and fill with warm water and drink it with my vitamins morning and night to ensure effective digestion .............  ;0)

As one ages ,the hydrochloric acid in their stomach,which aid s in the breakdown and therefore absorption of the nutrients in food, can and usually diminishes!! taking apple cider vinegar can and most likely supplements the lost natural acid in the stomach and aids in the normal digestion of food and nutrients!! There may be other as well as more compounds in the cider vinegar which help in parasite and bacteria control!!  It may even contain plant phenols and other aids to the immune system!!!  I hope this helps a little in answering your Q....!!!!!!!!

  7. I just started taking this yesterday and have noticed that my eczema that I've had since two is clearing up.

    I have been doing foot soaks in apple cider vinegar for over a month now because I had tried Kinoki detox foot pads and the main ingredient was bamboo vinegar. After doing the foot soaks a few times a week for the past few months and feeling so wonderful afterward I thought it would be really great if I could drink it. When I went to the vitamin store I found an organic raw one for drinking.

    It's really not bad I mixed two teaspoons with a spoonful of honey I just licked the spoon as I drank it. The second day it tasted much better. I am going to start drinking it with a straw to protect my teeth as mentioned above. Great idea. thanks!

    It promotes a general feeling of well being from the foot soaks. all you skeptics might go buy a $3.00 bottle from the store and soak your feet maybe you will not be so skeptic any more.
