What are the healthier foods at a restaurant?

  1. Non fried, steamed or grilled. Entrees with fish & chicken are usually lighter, when they are not smothered in a rich creamy sauce..


  2. salads fruit veggies

I always research the resturaunt before dining. for example chili's has a website where you can look up all the nutritional info from their menu. then I either decide what I want at home so I know what I want and am not tempted by what's pictured in the menu. or I print out the calorie count and bring it with me. I usually keep a few resturant print outs in my purse just to be on the safe side. if everything else fails ask the waiter they will know what is healthiest.  

  4. avoid cesar dressing mayo or greesy things

  5. salads, grilled fish and chicken and steamed veggies.

  6. anything grilled is a better bet

    avoid fried, dressing, cheeses, etc
