I just got a job in one at a branch in the UK, and they keep offering me food and drink, I bring lunch most of the time, but sometimes I don't have time to make any and wanted to know what the healthiest stuff was so i don't become obese and/or unhealthy.

  1. i would say water to drink and an ice cube to eat.

  2. Salad (bring your own healthy dressing) minus the dressing they offer, the calorie count is ridiculous! Parfait...but just the fruit. Drink water.

  3. my favorite is the apples and walnuts with the low-fat yogurt, the walnuts are sugared to perfection and what could be more healthy than apples, walnuts, and low-fat yogurt

  4. Water or diet soda a small fry and a hamburger or snack wrap only if you forget your own food. don't forget to pack a lunch

  5. I don't know about the menu selections in the UK but, surely you have salads and foods that aren' fatty and deep fried.  Choose a salad and go light on the dressing, drink water and maybe bring a piece of fruit or have the apple dippers.  Maybe once a week splurge and have something tasty lke a burger, small fry and diet cola

  6. I don't know how healthy anything really is there. One of my friends is a manager there, and he said that even the apple dippers are considered less healthy than the fries because of all of the chemical preservatives they contain to keep them from turning brown. If you are strictly worried about calories, they have to be able to show you the nutrition facts.

  7. I would say the garden side salad with balsamic vinagrette, a small diet soda, and the vanilla cone which is 150 calories with 3.5 grams of fat.

  8. Try the fruit and yogurt salad.

  9. Those Apple fries. Its real apple shaped as fries. If you are still hungry, try their salad without the dressing because the dressing contains a lot of fat.

  10. water!

  11. Try ordering the HEART TICK APPROVED MEALS

I'm not sure if they're over in the UK though, but they are over here in Australia. If they are then i suggest:

    1. The Caesar/classic salad

    2. Caesar Roll

    3. Cranberry and Turkey Roll or anything from the heart tick approved meals section

    DRINKS:

    1. Water

    2. Juice/Pop tops

and the Milkshakes would certainly be much better then coke, lemonade or soft drink in general.

  12. Probably the fruit and walnut salad, or apple dippers, with water.

If you get a salad without meat it's probably healthy too.

    If you want to know a bit more, I think they have it at the McDonald's UK site. Here's the link;

  13. probably that garden salad and the apple fries :))

  14. Salads sans dressing, juices, diet colas, any "fitness" menu options. Really, though, it's not a healthy place. If you want the nutitional facts for their food:

  15. water and salad

  16. First off... Diet cola's are not healthy.. and are even worse on your health than regular sodas... Diet cola's .. with sweeteners have been clinically proven to change your bodies physiological reaction to sweets.... What happens is while ingesting the sweets your body notices that you arent gaining any calories from the sweets...  and over time when consuming sweets your hunger will not be satiated and you will end up consuming alot more than you would if you were not drinking things with sweeteners in them and gain weight. lots of weight.

Your healthiest drink option is Water.  And not the bottled water.. The filtered water from the pop machine.

Your best option for the food... Hmmm well the salads are ok.. Me.. Id just slap  the meat for a double cheeseburger (sans cheese) into one of the sandwich boxes with some lettuce and pickles and tomatoes.

  17. If u work there u should have access to nutrition info. I think something grilled would probably be the healthiest. Try the salads, chicken sandwiches, or yogurt partifat.
