What are the hidden animal products to lookout for?

I have been a vegitarian all my life, and have recently discovered ingrediants like gelatin, and um, well is there anything else to look for in the foods I eat.

  1. Some examples:

    whey, lactic acid (unless its derived from beets), taurine, glycerin (unless vegetable derived), albumin, casein (or caseinate), some ingredients like lechithin can be derived from either animal or plant, if it doesnt say &quot;vegetable derived&quot; or &quot;plant-based&quot; assume it is animal!
