Ok if we did a complete breakdown of the payscale, as always the CEO's of the top corporations (including banks) will be the highest paying jobs in Panama.

After that elected officials (legislative, judicial an executive branches) earn a good salary (plus kickbacks as always).

It's forseeable that with the Panama Canal expansion that engineering and technical personnel will enjoy good salaries for their jobs in that project.  Apart that there's still a considerable real estate boom, so construction related jobs are well paid because of their high demand.

Attorneys have always enjoyed good salaries here, as well as accountants.  However there are a lot of attorneys and accountants so that gap is closing.  Only those with good connections, and political clout are the real sucessful ones, or the big firms.

Medical Doctors, Dentists and most everyone in the medical field earn good salaries, and are always in demand.

Working for a bank isn't exactly a guarantee on a good salary, but if you climb up the corporate ladder you will definitely improve.
