What are the human activities that destroy the eco system and what are the effects of the destruction?

It is said that if all the insects died in one day then the eco system will be placed in jeopardy..but if all homo-sapiens died the ecological balance would be restored.. this is quite true because we human beings have no respect for nature and natural resources.. the various human activities include - cutting trees and clearing forests for wood and more space which depletes the natural habitats and hence cause animals to die.. the building of factories pollute the environment, smoking, usage of plastics, hunting and  poaching of animals for meat or skin, dumping of waste in water bodies, animal husbandry i.e using animals for our own purposes, use of harmful chemicals like CFC's and bleaching powders which join the air and water..These are to name a few, the list is endless

It is the activity of crooked businesses and governments .With careless pollution of the soil and water by discharges of toxic chemicals rather then neutralize them or recycle . Why because those in control do not live around these contaminated areas And the government let's them get away with it .
