  1. Haha, are you even effin KIDDING me?!  EVERY problem is "made a problem" by the human race.  The human species is, by definition a disease - we overpopulate areas and deplete that area's resources and don't replace them at nearly the rate which we us them.  We are literally a plague on this earth's surface, and, as most other animals are not capable of comprehensible speech, we are the only ones who can verbalize something as  a "problem".  The most major human-contributed problem in the world today is its own existence.

  2. Freedom would be one.  Land grabbing would be another as many wars are fought to gain someone elses land.  And basic human rights.

  3. Obviously some issues like global warming come to mind.  This is something that will affect every human being, and all living things.

There are other issues as well.  Related to global warming are pollution and dwindling resources for an ever-increasing world population.  Today the focus in Western nations is on the cost and availability of petroleum, but already in Third World countries the much more basic concern is on access to adequate supplies of fresh water.

Moving beyond the specifics of secular Western culture clashing with Islamic values (remember when it was capitalist democracies vs. communist totalitarian societies?), there seems to always be human conflict on the horizon, even if the specific issues change with great frequency.  The stakes may be higher now since developing technology levels the field in asymmetrical warfare.  A cell of terrorists can shake the most powerful nation -- a thought almost inconceivable  a generation ago.

Underlying the issue of human conflict there is an on-going struggle between the "haves" and "have nots."  Many of the nations and cultures that have become hostile to modernity in recent years are reacting to either real or percieved injustices done over the course of many decades of political and economic colonialism.  The saying is that "the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer" is a reality for many people in non-Western countries.  Setting aside grandiose ideas aboout spreading democracy, what many of the world's people want boils down to this: a way to make a living in peace, enough to eat, an opportunity for their children to go to school, basic healthcare.  Until developed nations find a way to provide these opportunities to the rest of the world, there will continue to be anger, resentment, and hostility toward the rich nations.

  4. global warming.. its 90% caused by human. thats one of the scariest problems we,human, created for ourselves and the generations hereafter.

there are also issues like conflicts and tensions between countries... abject poverty..etc.

  5. Poverty, starvation, warfare, shortages of water, etc, etc.

You might want to refine the question some, because every aspect of human life is influenced by uh, human life.

  6. Dehumanization - from race to basic rights. Starvation, HIV -AIDS,

  7. Like, battle of ideas? Muslim/Christian culture clash? I'm not sure I understand your question. Please expand and I will come back to you.

    Kind Regards,

    Loup.
