What are the hygeine practices of the badjau tribe in the phils?

  1. u know these rural tribes are very clean and pristine.  we think our so call civilization is better than theirs.  i doubt it.  they respect nature, live in harmony with it and there's so much happiness in their lives. look at ours.  we wonder who is more civilized.

    they shower with cold mountain water every morning.  they have cleanliness rituals before and after prayers,  during birth and death and marriage ceremonies. they will use flowers and scent and lime during their ritual baths.

    altho they eat with their fingers, its washed thoroughly and when eating, the bones /leftovers are always placed in a semi enclosed receptacle and not next to the plate.

    when i saw this, i was totally embarass of our standards.  

    we hv a lot to learn fr them.  

    in the evening when they return from the fields, another shower with cold water is done and they dont hv body odour.

    they use a particular twig to brush their teeth and if it hadnt been the white man to introduce processed sugar, they would continue to hv sparkling teeth
