What are the hyzaar side effects?

i have been taking hyzaar for just over a year, and recently i have felt pain in my right leg and right knee and ankle.

anyone have any ideas?

Joint pain is not listed as a side effect of Hyzaar and since you just recently started having these symptoms after taking the drug for over a year and since your pain is localized to only your right leg, it's not likely the cause. Most patients experience adverse effects shortly after starting a medication, however, some medications do have side effects with long term use. Here are some of the side effects associated with Hyzaar: angioedema(inflammation of blood vessels leading to swelling in tissues), hypotension (low blood pressure), electrolyte imbalances, liver damage, pancreatitis, thrombocytopenia(low platelets), rashes, fetal harm, rhabdomyolysis(muscle damage/breakdown), kidney dysfunction, dizziness, cough, back pain, nausea, heartburn, & chest pain.
