  1. You need to figure out what kind of substrate to use in the tank to keep moisture in. I like to use a little bit of "bed a beast" which is a soil that is dried into a block. You just moisten it with water to loosen it up. Then add some moss on top of it.They also need a water dish they can climb into and bathe. I have done many tanks with live house plants for them to climb (plants that can take a lot of watering). I mist them several times a day. I try and provide them with the most natural environment.

  2. A 10 gallon will work for a while if the frog is young. They really need a larger tank as an adult. Keep an eye on Craig's List or yard sales for good deals on a larger tank. An adult should have at least a 20 gallon tank. 30 gallons would be better, if you can get one.

You'll also need a secure lid, a water dish, substrate (bed-a-beast or eco-earth are best) and plants. I prefer using live plants, and there are some that are very easy to grow. Philodendron and Pothos are good ones. They're hardy and will thrive under the same conditions your frog needs.

You also need to make sure the temperature is correct. For that, you need a digital thermometer, and probably a heat source. I use a low wattage heat lamp on mine, but it is very important to make sure your frogs don't get dried out or burnt by it. Make sure your frog does not sleep right under the light. Move perches if it does that.

You can get more one-on-one help at http://talkto.thefrog.org/index.php It's a great frog help forum, and there are a lot of White's Tree Frog keepers there. I'm sure everyone would be glad to answer any questions you have. Good luck. :)
