What are the ingredients in a nickel??

I need them for a science project thats worth a lot of points and i cant change my project.

  1. They are what ever they want them to be. The content changes whenever they have a problem getting a particular alloy. They are also pretty closed mouth about what the alloying ingredients are to prevent counterfieting. The most common ingredients are : Ni, iron, and aluminum.

    Ni is listed as a stragetic material ( one that the USA can't get along without) and whenever there is a war or police action, there is a restriction on it's use. They start using low Ni alloys  for the coinage.
