Green tea is simply made up of leaves of Camellia sinensis, the best thing about green tea is that, it  undergoes  minimal oxidation during processing. Green tea originated from China and it has been juxtaposed with many cultures in Asia from Japan and South Korea to the Middle East. In recent times its use has become more common  in the West, where black tea is traditionally consumed. Now, many different varieties of green tea are found in green tea producing regions.
