  2. According to the label, Dawn contains biodegradable anionic surfactants. On the Material Safety Data Sheet for Dawn, under the hazardous ingredients list, the only things that appears is Ethyl alcohol. I think it is safe to say that is doesn't contain formaldehyde, if it did it would have to be disclosed on the MSDS.

  3. I would not think they would use that - it would not be necessary.  As the previous answer says, read the label.
