  1. The main ingredient is probably cat.  I've had some "chicken" from a Chinese take out that I would swear was wood.  You never know what that stuff is, it could be anything.

  2. Let's see here's a short list of ingredients you might find used in that Chinese Chicken dish:

    -Peanut oil

    -Garlic

-An assortment of vegetables: snow peas, carrot, green onion, white onion, asparagus, zuccini squash, bell peppers,

water chestnuts, bamboo shoots & mushrooms (Shitake' or American mushrooms)

    -Cornstarch

    -Soy Sauce

-Oyster Sauce (Brown sauce used in gravies. It might not sound good...but if you eat Chinese food you've had it, probably enjoyed it and didn't know what it was.

    -White Pepper

  3. American Sauce

  4. well for general tao's  they coat the chicken in an egg wash ( egg and milk ) and then they roll it in a flour mixture ( even amounts of flour and corn starch ) and then they deep fry it and put it on the plate and add sauce and dried chili peppers , fresh bell peppers etc . I buy my sauce all ready made at my favorite chinese restraunt . They charge me less than buying it at the store and it tastes like you are eating at the restraunt but with out spending a fortune

  5. Hi Punchie

Your answer is very interesting...... - I hate the thought of eating mushrooms and often ask them not to put it NEAR my food while preparing. funny you should mention the oyster sausce .. don't some people have llaergic reactions to that stuff?  One ingredient I trly love is wasabi sauce (horseradish)..
