What are the insides of a television made out of and what parts do they go to?

I know the parts, just not what the parts are made out of.

  1. Don't forget the ferrite cores for the inductors and transformers, the glass for the CRT and the miscellaneous elastomers for insulation and mounting some of the large components.  Also permanent magnets for speakers.


  2. If you know the parts, then you know that it is a bunch of ICs and transistors and diodes (silicon dioxide), PC boards (glass fiber and epoxy), resistors (carbon film) capacitors (ceramic, aluminum, copper) wire (copper, plastic) plastic parts (plastic) metal parts (aluminum, steel).
