  1. There are none. We simply do not believe in a god. There is not one shred of proof, and until someone provides one (heh), it is a pretty strong intellectual argument.

  2. I as an Atheist prefer "Temporary Atheist Until Evidence Points Otherwise", but it is much too long, so I just say Atheist. Most fail to realize that It is not definite that there is no god, just more likely. Also, nowadays many are becoming Atheists to be "rebellious", regardless of what they really know about the subject.

  3. none.

  4. Intellectual weak links? No, I will tell you what they see, Very poor examples of truth! Prove to me you are chosen! Tell this son of the most high how I was chosen? Here is your chance to prove yourself?  e-mail me, my door is always open to a child of him!

  5. The only "weak link" is that a single proof that demonstrates the necessary existence of a god(s) would no longer make Athiesm an intellectually viable option. The same can be said about leprechauns.

Apologists have been trying to provide this proof for centuries, but all attempts to date have not withstood scrutiny.

  6. Atheism is lack of belief in/acceptance of a deity/deities. As I've said before, we a heterogeneous bunch, our points of view differ on many subjects, even as to the ultimate questions of where we came from and what's the purpose of all that we see is... Atheism is not a religion or a following, we just don't believe in any existence of religiously indoctrinated notion of god.

  7. It makes no difference what they would be. It isn't the outer analytical mind that they are denying, it's the Christ, intuitive mind they have separated themselves from.

  8. There are none.

All the one's I have heard are based on misinformation about the origins of Morals, Meaning and Happiness.

  9. Better yet- I would like to know what your intellectual strengths are and any supporting evidence you may have for god

  10. There are none, dear.  Rational belief requires proof.

  11. If you were smart enough to find a weak link, you'd already be an atheist.

  12. There are few. The theory of evolution is the one that gets the most pot shots, although there is much proof for its existence. Freaky things like "mind over matter" and "ghosts" are others...

  13. Attempting to use reason to communicate with people dedicated to the unreasonable.  not that it shouldn't be done, but that is the weakness.  If the theist refuses to be rational, then any attempt at communication is ultimately futile.

  14. Here's my simple view. If  as a Christian I'm wrong ( which I know I'm not) then I've lost nothing. If the atheist is wrong, he has lost everything.

  15. The only source of history that supports the theory of the bible are faith and the bible

Atheist admit when we dont know something.

  16. Why do people believe atheism is so much more than it is? It's simply not believing in a god/gods. Of course an atheist can be other things but that's got nothing to do with his/her atheism.

  17. It's the logical default given the lack of evidence so there are no weak links.

  18. Very intelligent answers here, I have nothing to add.

  19. As long as an atheist only rejects claims and doesn't make any, there are no links to be weak.

  20. What possible weak point could there be in not believing in something that can't be proven?

...I'm waiting for the ever present Pascal's Wager to come up.

    Edit: Never fails, thanks David.

  21. First, that the human mind is capable of explaining all that we wonder about.

Second, that humanity and teh natural world is the totality of our experience, when it is known the supernatural is real.

Third, a smug satisfaction that the person is supreme in her/himself.

  22. The most weak thing I see about it is that they dont believe/trust in God.

Some say they dont 'believe' in anything they can 'prove' but yet the same people believe in evolution and that we came from apes and when we die we just die. but yet, they cant prove that... (another weak spot)

  23. There are none because there's nothing to prove.

  24. They are exaclty the same as the weak links in these points of view:

    Non belief in Unicorns

    Non belief in Dragons

    Non belief in Fairies

    Non belief in Leprechauns

    Non belief in Mermaids

    Need I go on?

  25. I'll be most interested to see what they have to say, excepting, of course, ridicule, sarcasm, and vindictiveness.

  26. The only thing I can think of is the high level of uncertainty there is in the universe and how little we know about it leaving us all rather vulnerable when relying on what little evidence we have to understand our world.  However, the atheists do use the evidence at hand, rather than discard it as so many religious followers do, so it is the best option available in this uncertain world.

  27. None that I can think of.I don't believe in ghosts.Science happens.IT IS real,as opposed to beLIEving in big-head-in-the-sky.

  28. None really, as they don't assert anything that they can't prove.

  29. None.  Intellectualism isn't where they're lacking.  :-)

  30. None really. Requiring evidence for something before you believe in it is hardly 'intellectually weak.'

  31. They might question things that really exist but can't be easily demonstrated like magnetism and gravity. It's hard to trust much after breaking free of such a large lie.
