What are the issues affecting woman in the workplace?

What are some issues that have affected womans rights in the workplace e.i pay rates, barriers to employment and promotion and mertinity leave??

One of the barriers to promotion may be social. After work the "boys" club can go out for a beer or a round of golf so they get to know each other's strengths. Women have to head home to the kids and get left out of some business dealings.

Paying differently for comparable work.

Sexual, ethnic, racial, religious discrimination or harassment in the workplace
