I am planning my trip to Seattle for my 27th birthday next year in February.I found a reasonable ticket for Frontier Airlines to Seattle.I'm going to go with them. I haven't been on an airplane since I was 18 in 2000. I have been doing road trips. I was going to take the greyhound bus to Seattle but I saw that it will take 2 days and I would have had to transfer twice! So I decided to fly to get there faster. I know since the whole 9/11 thing that security on airlines has tightened. What items are no longer allowed? Is it true that a little thing like a nail clip isn't allowed? Someone told me even nail clips aren't allowed? The flight I am choosing leaves at 6:35 am. How early will I have to arrive? Is it true that I will have to arrive 2 hours to an hour early for searching?

  1. a bomb

  2. http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p...

    try that website.

  3. Many things arnt allowed on your carry on luggage, but you can check them in the cargo hold and be ok, for example you are only allowed to carry liquids in small i beleive 3 oz container on the plain, but anything you woudl liek in the cargo hold, i mean, i brought home a 12 pack of my favorite soda one time no prob.

You can even, if you make prior arrangements check a gun into the cargo hold.

Basically what im getting at is that the only items that are banned are banned form being on your carry on luggage, so if you think it will pose a hazard, just check it with your other luggage.
