What are the jobs of the people that go out before Fantasmic! and set up all the stuff/ check everything?

I want to become one so I need to know there job titles/what they are called so that I can keep my eye out for a opening. I thought that they were called Technicians but I couldn't find out if that was really it :-)

They're stage technicians.  They're either coordinators, assistants, lighting technicians, sound technicians, special effects technicians....  They're all part of the Entertainment department under Stage Technicians.  You do need experience and schooling for these positions.  There are classes in college that specializes in these fields like in lighting design and sound management which also means you need to take trig and physics classes, too.  Because it does get technical when creating a lighting effect with a special effect.

There are several different jobs "titles" involved.

The one that you are probably more interested in is either Tech Services or Stage Management.  However, from what I have been told these are not jobs they will hire people unless they have previous experience.

The one I believe is more of the "hire in" positions are in Show Support.  This is more of the "grunt work" position  where you are more involved in moving items around as well as setting up for different functions.
