What are the kinds/name of papers used in making an invitation card?please help..thnx.?

I'm on a tight budget and want to save,,,can anyone please tell me.I would like to make my own invitation card and make it more with a personal touch..thanks

You can buy card stock at your local craft store, or even the kind you use for your computer printer at your local Wal-Mart. I always do handmade cards. Simple watercolor cards, any heavy paper can be used as card stock, I use thick watercolor paper. I also do calligraphy. Kits for the computer are easily bought, most even come with envelopes, some with software.

Are you in the uk if so go on WWW.CONFETTI.CO.UK they have everything from the paper to the little accessories to put on the card.

They even do a printcentre for you to print your cards out which make them look really professional.
