The US Open for 2010 is taking place at the stunning Pebble Beach course for the first time in ten years meaning the betting should be exciting. Tiger Woods won in 2000 and will go into this year's tournament as the uneasy favourite after a poor run of form since returning to the game. Fighting for favouritism though is Phil Mickelson who won the US Masters so well at Augusta earlier this season and he is full of confidence.

The Europeans look to be dangerous at the US Open and the betting reflects that with several contenders heading across the pond with good chances. Lee Westwood went very close at the Masters and will be dangerous, as will Ian Poulter who is improving all the time and could be ready to make the step up if the odds are to be believed.
