What are the laws concerning tarantulas for toronto??

im looking into getting one and im reading and hearing that it is illegal to keep/buy tarantulas. but i see dozens of pet stores that have tarantulas for sale, thats why i am wondering.if its illegal, why are numerous pet stores selling them??

also, where can i go to buy an invertebrate in toronto or mississauga??? thanks!!!

  2. It is NOT illegal to keep Tarantulas as they are harmless,No tarantula venom is any more harmful to a human than a bee sting.
