What are the laws for N.C. rentals? Do you have to paint inbetween tenants?

we just moved out of a rental property and our landlord was being very difficult. The new tenant is moving in tomorrow and he said he wasn't planning on painting or having anyone extra come in to "touch up"

I was pretty sure that this was the law in most places? Anyone know where I can find the laws in NC?

There are NO states of which I am aware where repainting is a statutory requirement between tenants. I have no idea where you got the notion that such a thing is covered under law.

There is no law requiring a landlord to paint between tenants, at least not in N.C.
