I have a 43cc mini Harley, it gos around 20-25mph. I was thinking of buying a X-18 witch gos around 60mph stock. ( Site:http://www.minipocketrockets.com/x18-r-4-stroke-super-pocket-bike/)

When i was 13 i was told by a cop i wasn't able to ride my 43cc bike unless i was 16 and had a helmet. Im 18 now.

I was told by ppl that if the bike is over 50cc u need a full faced helmet. The X18 is 110cc (i think). B/c of there speed, is there any laws that apply to these bikes? Such as insurance or plates? Or can i just slap on a full faced helmet and some pads and ride it?

  1. Not sure about  Virginia but in TX anything over a 50cc requires insurance, tags and a motorcycle driving license.
