What are the laws of tattooing from your home?

When applying for insurance to open your own tattoo parlor, they ask for proof of tattooing for 5 years.. could tattoing out of your home possibly count?

Depending on the state but most likely no. In the state of Kansas you need to have a year of apprenticeship  to get a cosmetology license. Just for you to be legit ( in the eyes of the state of Kansas) tattoo artist

dont know where you live but in australia you absolutely need a licence and a sterile environment
