What are the laws on Scateboarding and can anyone teach me some simple tricks?

Can I scateboard on the path or do I have to go in the road? Also if anyone knows any scateboard tricks can they tell me them thanks.

No offense dude, but you spell skateboard with a 'k'

Er.. I don't know about the laws, but if you are gonna learn tricks, don't do it next to a main road, try to find a skate park or somewhere where you won't risk getting hit by a car if you fall off!!

If you wanna learn tricks just google them, and you can find step by step instructions of what to do =)
