That is going to vary with state laws, you need to contact your nearest police department and Department of Natural Resources.

The law is simple....

1 ALWAYS rip down the street

2 The quad can go offroad - The squad car cannot

3 f****s can be fastass - Get a banshee or raptor and refer to 1-2

4 No plates - see 1-3

I definitely agree on checking with your state laws. Also you might check with your local Forest Service or B.L.M. offices on their rules and regulations. Pretty much just check with the respected office where you will be riding.
