What are the laws regarding purchasing and collecting blank firing guns in new york state.?

i am looking to start collecting guns but i don't want operational weapons. so i was wondering how old you have to be to purchase. i am 19.

i don't know the laws my self but I think that they would be the same for purchasing a regular gun because the blank is the bullet it self but the best person to ask would be a gun store sales men.
