  1. You may divie the ocean in into five main layers. These layers, known as "zones", extend from the surface to the most extreme depths where light can no longer penetrate.

    The 5 zones are:

    Epipelagic Zone

    Mesopelagic Zone

    Bathypelagic Zone

    Abyssopelagic Zone

    Hadalpelagic Zone
