I'm 19, however the site that I want to buy several movies from states that one has to be 21 years of age to enter. My question is if I go on ahead and buy them, could I get into legal trouble?

Things To Note:

*This is the only legit site I found that has what I'm looking for (70s-80s classic p**n).

* I can legally buy adult films in my state(however the store's classic genre in my town consists of like 6 movies total)

Any advice?

  1. BUYING p**n? You're on the internet, use it.

  2. yes, jail time, fines, computer seized.

this p**n is an industry that turns people into drug addicts and alcoholics.you are contribiting to the harm done to them.

  3. you will not get in trouble..but the site will if they get caught selling to you

  4. They might stop selling it to you or something, but I don't think you'd get any hardcore punishments or anything...

but I don't think you'll have to worry about getting caught or whatever... people do that kind of c**p all the time, and the people who run the site probably know that. They could probably care less, just as long as your paying for the p**n.

and to child of god- *****, please! I don't watch p**n or anything, but I'm not so ignorant as to actually think that people who watch p**n are automatically going to turn into drug addicts or alcoholics.

For some couples, it helps spice up their s*x life, and for young peeps it's perfectly natural to be interested in it. As long as they don't have unrealistic views on relationships because of it, it's okay.

It's only a problem if they get SO obsessed with it to the point where it can affect relationships, work, etc. (which not all do)

I would like to add that he just asked if it was under-aged, he didn't ask for your input on whether or not you thought it was right, or contributing to alcoholism or whatever.

If you really were "a child of god", you wouldn't criticize people for doing wrong, you would try to help them, and if they don't want help, you would still accept their opinions anyway.

Heh... sorry for that little rant.

I'm in a very ranty mood at the moment =P

  5. it is not illegal to buy p**n at any age, even 13.

it is illegal in the US to sell or distribute p**n to minors.

since you are not a minor, you present no real threat to the seller, and regardless have not exposed yourself (no pun intended) to any legal risk either.

    enjoy...

  6. You may want to check out a better site to buy from. I use http://www.pornsearch4adults.com when I want to buy and search for p**n. Just a word to some about new legislation and p**n is that if you have not paid for any adult sexual images from a legitimate p**n site and have free images from chat rooms, myspace, facebook, IM's and e-mail on your computer they are doing what they did to Napsters free music downloads and arresting those that acquire free images without proof of purchase. 7 of my friends have been arrested and charged because of having and viewing free images.

  7. Why can't you just watch free p**n like the rest if us guys

  8. The notice for age is there to protect the seller, not the buyer.  If you misrepresented yourself and entered the site, then whatever the problem that may happen will be your responsibility.

The only problem you might get into is that if the store ever finds out you were underage, you may not get your product.  They also may give you problems in you getting refund, stating you were the one who violated their rules.

As to having any legal issues, very unlikely, especially when you are over 18.
