You need an FM3 work visa.  This process will require a company to request the visa for you, you'll need a lawyer, about 2 months to wait for the paperwork,  multiple copies of specific photos, and it runs around 200 USD for the fees.  The company should provide the lawyer to help you along with the paperwork.

1st answerer is correct.  You cannot get a work visa, then go job hunting.   The work visa is specifically for a specific job offer.  you must have an employer to sponser you with immigration for the work visa.  this is difficult to do, and usually you must have a very badly needed job skill.  salaries in Mexico anre 1/10th to 1 /20th of what they are in the states, unless you are working for a foreign country who has sent you here to work.
