What are the legal repercussions of an adult taking a minor out of state/province without parental permission?

My band is going on tour and I am wondering what would happen to my over age band mates if I go.

The trip is 10 days

I reside in Manitoba

I am 1.5 years from being an adult

kidnapping for them and/or runaway for you.  big mess.  kidnapping is a felony in the states and most would need to register on our predatory offender registry.  not something they should risk

If it is with parental permission, get s notarized statement.  Be sure to include a statement about medical permission in emergency.  Have used these when traveling with underage grandchildren and parents stayed at home.

So why don't you just ask your parents? do you live at home or what?

it would cause alot of problems and possible jail timie for them
