  1. Depends on the rules of the state you live in but you would basically treat it as an eviction.  Some states are much more liberal than others though.  A boot in the a** is always an option if things get rough.

  2. Tell him that he has a month or so to find a place to live. Tell him that you love him but it is time for both of you to go your own ways. It is legal to kick him out at 18 so he should feel lucky that he has had an extra 5 years to live there with you. If he doesn't find a place you need to just kick him out, if you let him stay he will never take you seriously and he will live with you forever :(            Good Luck!!

  3. Go to your local court house and file an eviction if he will not move willingly.  There are 5 day evictions, 10 days and 30 days.  I am sorry you have to deal with this.  23 and still not gone BAD

  4. If mortgage is titled in your name, not his, call the police and have him evicted.  Nothing he can do about it.

  5. It varies from state to state, You would have to go to court, file eviction  proceedings. The Judge might grant him a little bit of time if he can prove he has been there longer than 90 days I believe. If his name is not on anything pertaining to ownership of the home, he must move out by said time and if not he will get evicted by the Sheriff. I went through this with a relative. The judge gave her six months and then she had to leave.

    Good luck to you.
