  1. extra well, well, medium well, medium, medium-rare, rare, and what's called "pittsburgh rare", which is basically just seared a little on the outside and raw on the inside.


  2. it can vary a bit from one restaurant to another, so if you know you want your steak "just a little pink" or "bloody", ask your waiter/waitress what that would be. in my experience medium rare will have a little blood, medium will be very pink but no blood, medium well will be a little pink.

  3. When it comes to meat, i always make sure it is well done. Hamburgers meat should be well done too, no blood or whatsoever. No such thing as level, just make sure to check the meat then before eating it, to make sure it is right for you.

  4. rare - medium-rare - medium - medium-well, well.  

    Some restaurants won't let you order burgers below a medium or medium-well because of health concerns or because they use frozen hamburger patties.
