  1. Modern Anthropology does not use these terms, in fact they are fought against all the time.  The three "races" used to be Caucasoid, ******* and Mongoloid.  These corresponded to European, African and Asian.  The groups you mention do not cause much of a problem, except the Australian Aborigines.  Navajo, Aztec, Inca and Maya were all classified as Mongoloid as they are descended from Asian nomads that crossed the Bering land bridge (other migration theories not withstanding).  Philippine natives were also Mongoloid as were all Micronesian and Polynesians.  Australian Aborigines and Melanesian groups present interesting arguments.  Skin coloration not being an accurate judge of genetics but merely UV exposure (Indians from India are mostly Caucasoid).  Other groups that offer issues are Semitic people (Jews and Arabs) and Central Asians.

The real problem is that we are all one species and gene flow has never been restricted to the degree to cause race formation or speciation.

If the "race" you mention in the Philippines is the recently discovered Homo florensis, it is a different species not a race.  It was the result of dwarfism and genetic isolation and existed until about 12,000 years ago.
