  1. ATA is a McDojo. ITA is larger and more authentic. I prefer WTF myself.

  2. taekwondo is taekwondo.

the forms are different. the ATA teaches "songahm" taekwondo. or "pine tree" style. they created their own forms. and they are pretty much a mdcojo/beltfactory. they give black belts to 7 year old kids.

ITA is probably more traditional and authentic. probably a better choice.

most taekwondo today is watered down for sport.

i was with the ATA for a while...they don't know the applications of their forms in self defense. they just do them to do them. for testing purposes. and competition purposes.

they did teach me how to kick though.
