What are the main differences between iPods and Zunes?

-How much are songs from the software?

-How easy to use are the softwares?

-What are the different kinds of Zunes?

-How do the prices compare?

-How easy to use are they?

Well for one I read somewhere that you can't put itunes songs on a zune...totally makes sense.

I am pretty sure the prices are similar.

Personally I think the iPod is easier but it depends on what you like. One of my friends has a zune and they absolutely love it and they hate apple so that part is going to depend on you.

I know that there is a smaller zune (roughly the size of the old ipod nanos) and a larger zune (roughly the size of the ipod classic)

i know that the itunes songs are .99 cents a piece but the albums can vary between each one. unsure of the zune price.

personally itunes is super easy to use and i read somewhere that the zune software is slightly more difficult (not sure if that is true or not)

if you can't tell I am an iPod owner. I love the setup and the ease of use. The click wheel takes a little getting used to if you have never used one before.

I recommend that you go to best buy or an electronics store and just play around with both of them to see which one you feel more comfortable with.

I'd assume the selection and prices are comparable. apple's itunes is very easy to use and have been known for its user-friendliness. Everyone seems to have used iTunes at point or another... Windows Media Player isn't as easy to use with a portable device (i've only used it with a Samsung mp3 player, not with the Zune).

benefits of getting the Zune would be: replaceable batteries, longer life of device.

benefits of getting an ipod: easy to buy and download music & videos
