  1. BYU-Idaho is smaller, costs slightly less, and has a somewhat more strict honor code.  BYU-Provo is very large, has a wide variety of majors, and is more competitive to get into.  They are both good schools; it just depends on what you want to do.  There are certain majors that BYU-Idaho doesn't have that BYU in Provo does have just because it is much larger.  BYU-Provo feels like a huge, busy, academic world where you can find people who are studying almost anything you can imagine, but where people still have the same values and standards that you do.  It also has the largest library in the western US.  BYU-Idaho feels more like a tight-knit community of hard-working, spiritually mature students (from what I've heard).  Both options are good, just different, and it all depends on what you want.
