depends on what kind of food it is, but if it has to be fast, street stall food, then it has to be either Donner Kebabs or  Fish and Chips.

In general, we either like bland food-- white bread bacon baps beans on toast, roast dinners that are mostly meat done to death and potatoes and veggies done to death-- or we like curry. We LOVE curry. We love it so much that some British curries would be unrecognisable in the countries of their natural origin.

Should you come upon rumours of the deep fried Mars bar, I can confirm to you that this actually exists, and if you want one, you won't have to look long or hard, at least in Scotland. You can also get a deep fried pizza: this is a premade pizza dough thing with rather vile tomato-type sauce and pasteurised processed cheese food product, folded in half, dipped in batter and fried. You can also get a burger this way: deep fried, bun and all.I'm not saying that we like this stuff: just that you can get it, and if you can get it, it must mean somebody eats it.
