  1. Your bones support you and keep you together, and they protect your organs. These are the main functions of all skeletal systems.

  2. Go to those links.

  3. Um... to keep you from being a puddle of mush!

  4. To provide support and stability for the entire body and to encase vital organs such as the ribs for the heart and skull for the brain, and for muscles to have something to attach too. Also, the vertebrae (spinal cord) is vital for sending messages to the brain!

  5. structure, protection and.....something else lol

  6. provide structure for the body and to protect vital organs from damage.

  7. support and movement (via interaction with skeletal muscle groups)

  8. Mostly structure, I'm pretty sure; however, there are many facets of this!  The structure enables the muscles to allow you to move--gives your muscles a framework and something to pull.  If you had no skeleton, you could not sit up or do ANYTHING.

  9. support and protection.

  10. Protection, Strength, to create blood cells.(Marrow)
