Forearms and wrist is important - to overcome your oponent is really in the hand technique, as soon as you gain control over their hand then the naturally toned muscles of your bicep, triceps and upper back and depending on the angle - the pectoral (chest) work nicely. I find this technique never fails. It's most likely that your oponent will focus on their 'main' muscles in arm back and chest, but if you have the sneaky advantage of forearms and wrist strength then you will win.

    Try arm wrestling a tennis player and you will see what I mean. Hope this works!
