some of this answer depends on the type of audience, and the specific requirements of the assignment. BUT, generally, when giving a presentation, you should; give complete and accurate credit for any quotes; paper should be neatly printed, and follow either APA or ALA requirements as directed; prints are fine, but don't "busy up" the paper with all kinds of decorative junk. Orally, in public speaking; Rehearse what you're doing to say; practice giving it to a partner or friend; type and retype your oral presentation; when speaking, inflect and don't use a "monotone" voice, use your speaking voice to emphasize major points; make eye contact with your audience (can't do this if you have to read the paper). And, spread the eye contact around the room. Hope this helps.
