  1. Rwanda (research the Rwandan Genocide)

    Republic of Congo // Democratic Republic of Congo

    Sudan

    Kenya (lots of violence last winter)

    South Africa (definitely a major country there)

    Zimbabwe

    Botswana

    Angola

    Sierra Leone

    (Only 4 countries aren't part of sub saharan Africa:  Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia, Western Sahara)
