  1. The Olympics use FIBA rules for play.

    1. The pivot step is counted as a step in FIBA, whereas in the NBA it doesn't.

    2. The 3 point line is a little over 20 feet away from the hoop where in the NBA it ranges from 22 to 23.75 feet.  The WNBA uses the FIBA line.

    3. The Lane in FIBA is a trapezoid and the NBA lane is larger.

    4. Four 10 minute quarters as opposed to four 12 minute quarters

    in the nba that is goal tending

    the refs are not up to the standards of the NBA

    the paint is not a rectangle which makes a difference in rebounding free throws
