  1. The U.S. has had an embargo on Cuba since 1961.

  2. To the US?  The United States maintains a broad embargo against trading with Cuba, and most commercial imports from Cuba are prohibited by law.

Are you asking what are Cuba's exports?  sugar, nickel, tobacco, fish, medical products, citrus, coffee

  3. To my knowledge, we import nothing from Cuba, as we have not had trade relations for some 48 years with Cuba.

If you're looking for a site with information regarding trade with Cuba, try this one:

  4. Havana Cigars.Numero uno!!!!!

  5. Political and economic refugees.

  6. The major imports to Cuba are  food products from the USA.

Despite the embargo, the US is one of the major trading partners with Cuba. Major imports from the US are rice, wheat, corn, frozen chickens and turkey. Important non-food importers are China and Korea.

  7. Sugar, tobacco, citrus, rice, potatoes, cassava, plantain, bananas (and other tropical fruits).

There is also some natural medicine (I know this firsthand as it is used in our clinic for cholesterol....it is produced and marketed in Cuba and exported out...it's called Policosanol).

Major Canadian imports from Cuba include nickle products, raw sugar, fish and seafood and cigars.

  8. Imports from Cuba to WHERE?  There are no imports from Cuba to the U.S. and haven't been for over 50 years.  However, Cuba does export cigars, metals and leather products to other countries.
