What are the matte zippo lighters made out of?

They look like plastic material or something, is it metal with a plastic cover over it?

  1. Although I am not sure what the matte finish is made out of, I believe that the main body of all of the zippos are made of brass. The finish, I would suppose is a paint. Possibly latex.
